<p>I never said to cross them off blindly - I simply said that they’re rarely ever correct on the SAT. You’ll be able to tell in those special circumstances when an author really does write with “vitriolic indignation,” but most times that’s going to be a bit of a stretch. On a more subtle level, words like “majority” (not to mention the word “all”) can be extreme as well if there is no indication of such a thing.</p>

I haven’t tried it yet but I am almost sure it’s going to help tremendously. I really wish I could give you something apart from words…but I can’t. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!</p>
<p>Wow! This is truly amazing! In the CR section I get about 610. My decent knowledge of roots, the use of elimination, and intuition allow me to get most of the sentence completion correct, but line citation in passage based reading has been killing me! </p>
<p>On my practice tests and practice questions, I miss way too many line citation passage based reading questions and my scores suffer because of this. I read this, and then I went and practiced with questions in the BB (the 31 question passage based reading) and I missed ONLY ONE question! (so 30/31) I am so shocked at how effective and instantaneous these results were for me! </p>
<p>Wow. I have the confidence that if I can effectively use this tactic time-efficiently, I could get an 800 on the CR.</p>
<p>Our kids are juniors. we expect them to take the SAT in the spring and maybe again next fall. One of the SAT prep course outfits said it is best to take the prep course the preceding weeks right up to the test date. Is this the case? What do you all think of one on one programs like Huntington, Sylvan and C3</p>

i simply have no idea after many practices…i have improve my accuracy and find the hints revealing the answers from passages but it really TAKES TIME…
