Does anyone have some tips they'd like to share? :)

I agree I need some too =[

Well it depends. Why do you procrastinate? What do you do instead of what you should be doing?

You can't, its IMPOSSIBLE. Once your devoured in Procrastination, theres no way. Seriously.

It's all personal.

I've slowly started to get better since jr. year.
Jr. year at my school is brutal, and if you can't handle your procrastination problems you may just end up messing up any chance you may have had at a top school.

I think it also has to do with maturity. As I've gotten older, I've gotten better about it (I at least like to think that I've grown a bit over the years in high school...)

nike says it the best.....

"just do it"

Whenever I suffer from procrastination. I use Google Search to find tips.

One tip that works well for me is to say "Ok, I'll go do this work for five minutes."
Sometimes I substitute 5 with 15. The trick is not to work for such a short amount of time, but by the time you've worked on something that long, you usually become hooked and don't want to stop doing it.

I also find that if there's something going on in my personal life I'm much more likely to procrastinate.

I've found that the "Just do it" idea doesn't work. You'll tell yourself "Just do it!" and then find yourself browsing Facebook 5 minutes later.

One favorite site of mine is LifeHacker. They have plenty of tips to overcome procrastination:

Overcoming procrastination can be hard, but once you find its causes and root them out, you will be a much happier person.

Thanks for the ideas! I really don't procratinate much but it's good to know to avoid/stop it.

Ha, I know it's stupid, but I actually procrastinate by spending too much time on college confidential...

I have some, but I'll post it later.
