How to be an Admissions committee/reader?

<p>Does anybody know how the process of becoming a college admissions reader or getting on the AdComm works? Is it just like any other job application? What kind of qualifications would they look for in applicants for a job like this?</p>

<p>I'm just asking because I'm not sure what to do after I graduate (one more year...good God, time flies), and it struck me this morning that I might actually like a job like this, at least something to pay the bills until I can figure out what to do with my life.</p>

<p>LOL, you cant apply to be an adcom reader. Adcom readers are generally HIGH SCHOOL teachers in the surrounding city and alumni who have graduated at least 10 years ago and dont have any children applying for any UC.</p>
