I'm an incoming freshman who's interested in egg donation (well, technically egg selling) and have heard that at Harvard there are opportunities to do this for $20,000+ payments. How would one go about seeking these opportunities? Are there agencies to contact, or should I just try to find advertisements on the Crimson? If the latter, how do I vet the honesty and trustworthiness of the people posting the ads?

Unconventional question I know. Thanks in advance to anyone who has advice.

You can often finds ads on thecrimson.com, although how legitimate those ads are, I don’t know. I heard that the ads that advertise very high pay can be scams. I’m sure you’ll find all the information you need if you just do some Google-research for a couple of hours.

I have! I found some typical agencies that pay around $5000 (as more than $10,000 is sometimes considered unethical) to their egg donors, and some news articles about the $20,000+ specialty cases (without a lot of detail on the nitty gritty of how to find opportunities and vet honesty and such-- they were focusing on the moral side of the issue).

If anyone has personal experience or knows anyone who does, I’d love the input. I know this is a niche question and I’m not likely to get many answers, but anything helps.
