cmon anyone>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

you apply online (or through a friend), you interview...they decide whether you get an offer or not. pretty simple. ideally you want to get a summer internship at the end of your jr year.

good luck.

well how should I get an IB internship any tips for that I already have a an internship in a tech company

What school do you go to? That will determine whether it is a target or not.

For targets, investment banks have on-campus recruiting. Meaning you can submit, your resume via E-recruiting or w/e system your school uses.

HR will screen all the applicants from your school to determine who they want to grant an slot to for a round 1 (typically on-campus) interview.

If you're lucky, you get a round 1 interview.

If you're lucky enough to get past round 1, you go to NYC for SuperDay, which is typically very grueling.

If you're lucky enough to impress the bankers, you get an offer for the summer.

*Interviews can very depending on who you get. Some are mostly fit. Some are mostly technical. Others are mixture. Everyone wants an interview that stresses fit.

Minimum GPA is typically 3.5, but there are exceptions depending on other factors (work experience, connections, etc)
