Hi everyone! I'm a sophomore at a pretty large, competitive high school. We send a handful of kids to Ivies every year (4-7). Anyway, I'd like to be one of these kids when I graduate! And no, not just because of the prestige, because of the great quality of education.

Anyway, I'm really interested in biology and the medical field, and am wondering how I could show this in my ECs. Right now, I'm treasurer of Bio Club, and a member of Medical Explorers. These are basically the only related clubs that my school offers. I'm also taking an online course for credit through Cornell next month (Human Evolution, Fossil Record, ...), and hope to take another credit bearing course over the summer. And my GC said that if I do these things, she'll hook me up with a research assistant job after my junior year.

What I really want to know is: What can I do to get more involved (now)?

I'm really open to anything, be it physician shadowing or a position as a lab janitor, I just don't really know where to start.

Thanks so much!
