Hey guys.
I received a 23 on the June ACT reading as i couldn’t finish the section and i was wondering how i should go about preparing for this section.
Currently i’m using spreeder and I basically copy and paste 10-15 articles a day into spreeder and practice reading at 300-350 wpm.
Will speed reading courses like spreeder drastically boost ACT reading scores? If not, what prep methods do you use to score high on reading?
Any help would be appreciated 
For me, it was my constant reading of articles in IB English that improved my score. I took on the same method as “annotating” my articles for the passages in the ACT Reading. I don’t know why, but just the act of underlining or circling words or phrases or paragraphs that seem interesting to me helps me focus and read fast. Also to retain complete focus on the passage, I don’t bubble in my answer sheet until I answer all the question from the passage. After filling in those 10, I move on to the next passage. I have no clue if this would work for you, but maybe try it out on a practice test!
NOTE: Raised my score from a 25 to a 33 on the Reading just by implementing these methods and practicing a few times. But I’m retaking in September too!
