How to build an impressive resume

I am a finance & business analytics and information systems double major. I'm mostly focused on being a financial or investment analyst. I have a decent gpa, over s 3.0, but I want to know what type of activities to get involved in for the sole purpose of having a really impressive resume. What activities are recruiters most impressed with?

So far I have an executive position in a business organization and am applying to be a peer mentor (pretty much the same duties as a TA just an undergrad student) that will teach a first year seminar class. I'm also looking into internships but how many leadership positions, internships and other experiences make you the best candidate when applying for a job?
I just want a lot of experience, I'm a sophomore by the way.

Work experience related to what you want to do in the future is far and away the best way to improve your resume. I’d recommend you focus on getting quality internships.
