How to caculate UC GPA?

You have 20 semesters, total of points 76 (A is 5, B is 4), 76 + 8 (UC capped amount of points for ap/h) = 84. UC GPA = 84/20 = 4.2 </p>

<p>An A is 5 or 4?</p>

<p>An A is 4 but if you take a UC approved Honors class or AP Class that A will become a 5. Maximum of 8 semesters (4 year long) Honors and AP classes for honors points.</p>

<p>ok, it’s just that in the calculation @fokusnik had A’s as 5, but then added in 8…</p>
