Can someone help me?

different schools have different methods of calculating GPA. It depends if ur school weights honors/ap and what scale they use. ex. 4.0, 5.0, etc.

Yeah, like the above poster said, we could probably help you out more if you gave us more info on what kind of GPA system your school uses.

They're right, every school differs, but this is how my school does it (unweighted).

A = 4
A- = 3.6667..
B+ = 3.333..
B = 3
B- = 2.6667..
C+ = 2.333..
C = 2
C- = 1.6667...
D+ = 1.333..
D = 1
D- = .6667..
F = 0

They go up by a fraction of a third if you didn't get that. Um, so what you do is for every A, B, C, etc. you add the corresponding number. Then once you have a total, divide it by your total number of classes.

For instance, if I have two A's, three B's, and two C+'s, then I would add them all up.
A = 4
B = 3
C+ = 2.333..
So you add them up, and get 21.6667...
Since I had 7 classes, I would divide that number by 7.
21.6667../7 ~ 3.1
So your GPA is about 3.1

Hope that helps.

my school is on a 5.0 scale and it goes like 99 is a 4.9 , 98 is 4.8, etc. so like i said before u really cant know how to calculate ur gpa without either talking to ur counselor or someone from ur school on how its calculated at ur own school.

At my school it's supposedly total points divided by total credits, but I'm not sure how they come up with the points number because it looks totally random to me.
