How does one calculate the minor GPA? For example, a math minor at my school is for Calculus III, Differential Equations, and 3 additional courses. Do I count Calculus I which I took earlier at that university? What about Calculus II which I took at another university?

Similarly, for a major GPA, do you count everything that is in that subject -- even if it wasn't required for your major, but it was the same department (i.e. an elective in your field)?

its done the same way for majors and minors.

if you took the class, it will be calculated the same way, no matter if it was an elective or not.

But what about if a class was taken at another university?

If its from another university, the grade won't be factored in, but the credits will be added to credits you've earned.

ex.you get a B in biology at one school over the summer, but are really enrolled in another school. You will get the 4 credits that biology has, but the B grade won't affect your gpa in any way.
