How to calculate my uc gpa?

I recieved 2 F’s one year and 2 D’s the next year on the same class but i got an A on that class at a community college in the summer. What do I do to calculate my GPA? Add those into my GPA as 0’s and 1’s?

I don’t know how to interpret the UC’s policy on replacing D’s and F’s with the better grade in my situation.

I'm not entirely sure about community college courses replacing your grades in UC GPA, but basically if you retake a course that you previously failed (D or F), your UC GPA will ONLY COUNT THE RETAKEN COURSE. So if you get a F the first time and an A the next time, it will count as a 4.0 on your UC GPA. At least, that's what I remember...

You might want to do some more research or talk to your school counselor about CC courses...

UC allows only one repeat of a course in which a D or an F was earned.
So the D's would be counted in the GPA calculation. The Spanish 2 A's
would not be counted.

This would be both a scholarship and a subject omission. However, you
can take a more advanced Spanish course and fulfill the subject
omission.
Spanish 3 at the community college or in high school, if completed with
a C or better, would accomplish this.

This mean's only the D's would be counted, not the F's, right?

Yes, only the "D" grades would be calculated into the GPA.
