the two vectors A = 3i − 3j
and
B= −i − 4j
what is the absolute value of the diffrence between them, |A - B|=?
and what is the direction of | A-B | (counterclock wise from the X-axis)?

Is this a homework problem? And why is it difficult enough that you would post it on a forum?

Hint: A-B = A+(-B). The rest you should be able to figure out.

i and j are on separate axes. If you’re thinking of using the Pythagorean theorem or something, don’t bother. It’s just simple addition.

is this for ACT?

I think it’s ACT or SAT subject-level appropriate…might not be an actual question since they wouldn’t ask several questions on vectors in one test.
