How to calculate your weighted GPA?

<p>How do you calculate your weighted GPA? I feel like I'm doing it incorrectly..</p>

<p>Assuming you mean on a 5 point scale:</p>

<p>For regular classes:</p>

<p>A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
etc.</p>

<p>For honors/AP/weighted classes:</p>

<p>A = 5
B = 4
C = 3
etc.</p>

<p>You then just add everything up and divide by the total number of classes. </p>

<p>Note that in some schools, classes can vary in the amount of credits they count for; in that case, just multiply each classes weighted GPA number by the number of credits the class counts for, add all this up, and divide by the total number of credits.</p>
