How to change from new member...

Hey guys,

I'm sorry this is probably totally unrelated to college stuff, but...

I've had the "New Member" status for awhile now and I've noticed that other people who haven't been members of College Confidential or haven't put as many posts as me have been upgraded to titles like "Junior Member" or "Senior Member." How can I upgrade my title?

Thanks guys, and hope you guys are successful in your college applications,
Lilypuppy

It's all based on your post count.

I believe Junior Member is 100, Member is 300 and Senior Member is 1,000 (Almost there, w00t!).

It's all related to the number of posts you have. I think once you hit 30 you're considered a Junior Member, after 300 you're a Member, and 1,000 is Senior Member. I could be off on the exact numbers, though.

Also, posts in the Cafes (Parents Cafe, College Confidential Cafe) don't show up in your Post Count or count towards the member level.

I am not a regular poster on CC so it will take me forever to get to be a member. I kinda like being a JUNIOR member at my age. :-)

wow BandW you have been on CC sine Oct 2004.

wow, very pertinent

Thanks so much. I was wondering how the system went. Is anyone 100% positive about the exact scale? The should probably mention the system in the FAQ...
