I am most likely going to the University of Maryland this fall, and have this question. I was accepted for engineering undecided, and while looking at majors I found turfgrass/golf course management which I think would be a better fit for me. I want to change into it, but when would this happen? Do I need to talk with someone before I pick classes, or what? How does it work? Thanks

It depends on the school. Talk to your advisor and ask!

Don't worry about that. People change majors all the time, it won't affect your classes since I assume you will be picking classes and signing up online just like every other big university. On the first day just go to the letters and sciences college and ask to transfer there your first day. You'll fill out a form and then you'll be done. You might even be able to enroll in both colleges at the same time.

Ok cool. Yeah I know its easy to change freshman and sophomore year, I'll figure it out when I pick classes too. Thanks
