How are we supposed to check our admission decision for Princeton? Do they send us an e-mail or are we supposed to log in somewhere on their website.

Are we supposed to register at the application tracking system site on Princeton's website because I completely forgot the PIN number I used to apply to Princeton.

if you used the common app, you can just log back on and check out your princeton supplement and the PIN is still there. i have no idea about the princeton online app.

the tracking site is sorta hard to find--it's under "application checklist" on the undergrad admissions site

this is it:
https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/

you register using the PIN and your email, i think. i suggest making a word document with the new info, right away, because even the email confirmation doesn't have your new password.

Thanks for that information. Somehow I completely missed that whole pin number thing when I applied.

the decision is not out yet.....

If you get accepted, do they send you a snail mail letter besides sending you an e-mail?

what if you DON'T get accepted? Do they still send you a letter or only an e-mail?

I'm sorry I'm being such a pain about this, it's just that I'm debating on whether I should read the decision online or wait for the actual letter. My mum says it's much more exciting that way... Ha ha ha

^you'll get a rejection letter in the mail if you do get rejected. and i would considering online equally exciting, if not more than waiting for snail mail. refreshing that page every minute for half an hour with the whole family in your house unsuccessfully pretending to be taking care of their own things is invaluable.

Ha, tongchen you are so right. That is exactly what is going to happen to me.

How much later do you think the letter will come? Like, if I don't check online and I instead wait for the letter, am I going to be waiting a week or a couple days? (I'm live in Virginia so it's not like the letter is going too far.)
