As soon as I submitted my electoronic application supplement for Honors College, the system indicated "submitted". But how can I check that all the other parts of this supplementary, that were sent separately, reached Stony Brook? Like transcripts and teachers' recs?

You'll want to contact the Honors College directly; they can be reached at 631-632-4378.

what was the median sat score for the honors college last year

I don't know last year's number; I believe the minimum SAT is going to be a 1350 this year. The median's really irrelevant, statistically.

Thank you Sbuadmissions.
Does you last post mean that for the admissions to Honors College there is a cut-off SAT score and that all students with higher scores have a high likehood of being admitted?

Yes, there's a cut off (either 1300 or 1350, probably, depending on the pool), but "high likelihood" is not correct. They admitted 9% of their applicants last year.

Based on that data, I'm probably not going to get in with my 1270 SAT. Though my GPA and other application qualifications are up to par, I believe. =/

Thanks again!

I would never say no, because I don't know what the pool is going to look like this year; I can only tell you what the kinds of guidelines they've used in the past.

Best of luck to all of you.
