I applied to Georgetown RD. I have not gotten any email or letter with an applicant ID or password.

How does Georgetown notify applicants of acceptances? Do they just e-mail?

if Georgetown had their way, they'd likely do it by carrier pigeon or pony express. But in a nod to modern advances, they have adopted the groundbreaking technology of...the US postal service. Sorry.

So true!!!

yeah, um...you wait for the mail. it sucks.

carrier pigeon would be so much better.
Did I spell pigeon right??

how long do overseas letters usually take, does anyone know?

carrier pigeon would probably be faster than georgetown by mail.... haha i love georgetown though.

and for international, i think you get an email before the letter. at least that's how it was for ea.

hmmm...actually you do not receive an email if you apply RD...so if you wanna get your decisions before any mail arrives, the only way is to call.

btw, if you would rather wait for the mail...one of my friends received her acceptance letter via airmail in...June...

[edit]oops, my friend is an international student, of course~:)

applicant ID? password? hahahah, that's cute.

you can call to get your applicant ID number (i did) but it doesn't actually do anything b/c there's no way of checkign your status online.

maybe they get a guy on a horse to ride through town: "the envelopes are coming, the envelopes are coming!"
