How to check housing

Does anybody know how to check your housing? I'm a bit worried...I was admitted off of the wait list and never got a receipt for submitting the housing application

Yes, follow these steps:
1) go to housing.cornell.edu
2) go down to midpage to where you will see "To re-access the housing system, accept your housing assignment, or apply for continuing student housing:" click on either NET ID log in or not
3)Click on "Application" button on the top left corner
4)On the bottom, in "07/08 Academic Year" box, if you see:
"Not Complete" - then no assigment has been made
Otherwise, you will see your housing assigment

PS: that page also contains information on whether you successfully applied for housing, so make sure there is a checkmark near next to "Applied"

the only thing that sucks about that, is that you cant really see who you're roomates are...you get a first name, but i think they should give you a netID at least :<

uh oh...heres what i see:

Select Application
Undergraduate Students: Please select either the full academic year, spring semester or Family Housing (if you're married and/or have children).

Graduate Students: The Contract Periods below relate to certain types of housing. In order to determine what period to choose, please refer to the Graduate Housing website by clicking here.

Please be aware that your application is not complete until you have been assigned a room and signed your housing contract.

07/08 12-Month, Families Only (08/01/2007 - 07/31/2008)

07/08 Academic Year (08/17/2007 - 05/17/2008)
Applied: 5/14/2007 5:11:00 PM
Not Complete

is that bad?

oh wait nevermind, i see what youre saying. the not complete is that i wasnt assigned housing yet.

Yup ur all good. You'll probably get it the 20th but could any day now (I got mine yesterday - I'm a GT. Was expecting to wait till the 20th so that was an awesome suprise!).

When I try to log into my account on the housing page i keep getting -

"Your details were not found. Please try again or contact the University directly"

Ahhh i would contact Cornell except it's Friday 6:30pm and the office is closed right now. Plus, it's not open during the weekend. So help please?

Don't worry! Call them on monday!

Is there anyway to change housing? I got a single (third choice) and I really don't want to shell out an extra $900 for housing.

what does this mean?
Room Reservation: DNLN

you got into donlon

grr isn't that the oldest dorm and the biggest and the worst

I think so, yeah, but lots of other kids like it.

edit

dammit, I got it too =/

LOL!!! same building with me then lol i think im on third floor since it started with a 3.....

yeah, the first digit is your floor number. I'm on the 4th.

and i thought i had it bad (i just got into high rise 5). but donlon is one of the residences i was hoping for. why is it considered "bad" by some? I mean, i can see the low rises, but why donlon?

My cousins told me that the rooms aren't as nice, but that's all anecdotal since neither of them actually lived in Donlon. I was hoping for either Mews or C-K-B since both are new.

SAME HERE!! i was hoping for those 2 also

I think everyone was hoping for those 2...

But I got what I wanted, Risley. Though, I did want a single... I'll, talk to them about that I guess.
