I took the GRE back in September and had ETS send my 4 free score reports to certain schools. For a couple of the schools I hadn't opened an online application yet at the time the scores were sent. How do I make sure the schools have received my scores? The apps usually just have me type in the scores myself.. there is no indication that the official scores have been received.

Usually, once you submit an application, the university supplies on online checklist of what they have received – or what they have not. Give them 7-10 days after submitting the application to pull your GRE scores from their records. (Some do it within a couple of days.) If your GRE scores still show up as “missing,” then a quick call to the graduate admissions office, not the program, might clear things up.
