Hey, I have been accepted to both U of South Carolina and High Point. I've toured both and really like both. High Point is much nicer (IMO) but is the degree value, or name recognition fairly equal? How to i go about choosing since there is no clear winner to me, that most everyone else at my school has? Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your reply but it’s hard for me to relate HPU #3 regionally and USC #111 nationally. you know what mean?

Regional rankings are asisgned if they are below national universities.

They are different types of schools at different tiers.

What is your state? Can you afford High Point?

i live in SC go to high school in NC and could afford high point. i know USC has a great business program and more opportunities to get father education. i am currently undeclared and have little idea of what i want to do, more than likely business which HP offers a MBA. but i want a school that will allow to find my passion, which i why i have ruled out any college since they are to concentrated. i wish my choice was as clear cut as a lot of people at my school…

Their four-year graduation rates aren’t that different. If the size difference doesn’t matter, try looking at their actual class schedules to see how big they are and what they offer. Start looking at specific departments and see what their graduates are doing. Also start following their campus paper. Start figuring out the differences and see which ones are important to you.

following their paper is a great idea thanks!
