How to choose which classes to phase 1?

Yes - this is another one of those threads (and I did see the thread(s) that is basically the same)...sorry...I thought I had everything figured out...but that was three days ago, before like 150 people enrolled in all the classes I want (didn't realize that would happen :/)...and now I don't...so yeah.

I want to take UGBA 10, Econ 1, math H53, and Pub Pol c103. I thought I would phase 1 ugba and pub pol, but then realized I might not get my other 2 courses which are prereqs, so should I phase 1 the important courses (math/ugba and take something else instead of pub pol), or the most popular ones (pub pol/ugba)?

The enrollment is like this (most to least): Pub pol > UGBA > econ >H53
Order of importance (applied math/biz double major): UGBA > 53 > econ > pub pol

My phase 2 is Nov 23rd (surprisingly good)
Thanks!

good rule of thumb is, if it is pre req for virtually all other classes, phase I it
if you are unecided between two classes, phase I the one that you will be taking more upper div courses for
all lower div courses will be packed no matter what - because everyone has to take them

Thank you! I will go ahead and phase 1 UGBA and econ instead then…I feel good about getting 53 and it’s not a prereq for 54 or anything…and I guess any easy filler class will do at this point haha
