<p>Well, you could look at some sort of rankings. Of course, rankings use different factors to evaluate schools, and these don’t necessarily match up with the factors you care about, so you’d want to look at the methodologies and find rankings that work for you.</p>
<p>You can also look at the course catalog for each school, if you want to see the variety of classes they offer. And, if the school makes it available, you can look at job placement stats.</p>
<p>If it’s research that interests you, you could find papers that you like in journals and see who wrote them, or look up which schools have the most cited professors.</p>
