ok, so I am in my sophmore year of high school and I have been shooting to go the Naval Academy. I was wondering how exactly you find a representative and how you can get in contact with them. I have been researching to try and find an answer but I would prefer a direct answer from ANYONE who knows and understands how the process works for meeting a representative.

Are you asking about your Congressional Representative? (i.e MOC)

Every Representative has a website with detailed information on how and when to apply for a nomination.

If you are asking about a Blue & Gold Officer (a local contact who can answer your questions) you should ask your guidance counselor, they should have the info. If not, you can contact the BGO Area Coordinator who can then direct you to your high school’s BGO.

[Click here to find your BGO Area Coordinator](http://www.usna.com/admin/view.image?id=32861)

FYI - BGOs are pretty busy this time of year dealing with the current group of applicants for the Class of 2016, so it’s probably not the best time to contact him/her as you are at least a year away from even starting the application.
