Well I have been seeing that you take your highschool avg for example a 90 multiply it by 4 and divide it by 100 which would be a 3.6 gpa, is this true? Any other methods?

Am I asking a dumb question :(?

Gooooooogle. :D

Huh? You have to average all your individual grades, hence the name Grade Point Average. A and A+=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-=2.7, etc. You simply assign all your grades their number and average them.

I don’t know what school you go to, I didn’t know other high schools gave letter grades. But I’m from new York and we get numbers for each class like 85, 90, 92 etc

I did google, I’m like a google feen btw but it doesn’t seem right.

we get numbers for each class too, but also a letter grade^^

but for us, an A+ is 4.3

K then it will take a little more time but take your numbers and convert them to letters and then to a 4.0 scale. Btw most high schools give letter grades.
93+=A
90-92=A-
87-89=B+
83-86=B
80-82=B-
77-79=C+
etc.

Your best bet is to use Questbridge’s conversion table: [QuestBridge: Q & A for College Prep Scholarship](http://www.questbridge.org/resources/q_and_a/cps07.html#10)

Schools like Yale and Stanford use Questbridge to recruit students, so their conversion is legit.

Well I have a 100 in a class is that like A++?
Lol
And really? How odd, it’s probably by state because everyone I know gets numbers but thanks anyway:)
