how to convey this

<p>so i'm looking to transfer to a particular school, and it's my number one top choice. i didn't really think about going there in highschool so didn't apply at all, but now i really want to go there. thing is, it's also a rather selective school. so how can i convey in my essay that i really want to go there and it's the perfect school for me? also, should i include a story about how i was on a plane and i happened to to sit next to an alumnus of this particular school and after a convo with them was inspired to go here? or would that be overkill?</p>
