I want to try to create a schedule before i go to orientation so that ill be better prepared. What sites am i supposed to find where my requirements are and if the classes are filled or not.

also im going in as a cns major but want to switch to business. is there a site where i can find what classes i need to take so that il be able to switch?

[Undergraduate Programs - The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin](http://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/udean/admissions/internal.asp)
and for internal transfer into business, you basically need 24 hours at UT and 4 indicator classes (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Cal 1 and Cal 2) and GPA of 3.6-4.0(higher the better). The website is not updated yet but starting this year they are requiring all 4 indicator classes for everyone trying to transfer into business.

On the site that topawala20 first listed is a button called “Find courses Now” Click on It, login, select the subject that you want and select either lower or upper division…then it’ll bring up a site with different course numbers for the subject, teachers, times, and other stuff. If you really want a class and if its open, go ahead and jot down a four or five digit number I think on the very left hand side of the course you want. Even better, go ahead and look up which teachers are good/bad etc. on pick a prof . com or rate my professor .com website. At the orientation, also make sure that you attend the meeting that lets you know how to transfer internally into different majors (it’ll be on your schedule the meeting times and all that). Be very open and straightforward with your adviser that you want to do internal transfer and he’ll guide you from there …good luck

See if you can meet with a McCombs academic advisor. Depending on how strong of a student you are, you might be able to jump the application process and just get in the school. I know that this is possible in the Engineering school. Nevertheless, this happens on a very case by case basis and by no means the mainstream way of entering the school.

kkwa, i didnt know that! that gives me hope that i might be able to transfer earlier. i consider myself a strong student, and i didnt apply to the school when i applied to UT, so they might consider switching me before fall term starts if they see my app. hopefully!
