One of my best teachers recently handed me the recommendation she prepared for me to look over. We're very close, and she called me one of the best students she's ever had, but parts of the recommendation are poorly written: for instance, she spent a lot of time talking about points on my brag sheet that she isn't connected to and that will appear elsewhere in my application. I don't want to offend her by making too many edits, but I really want a strong recommendation, too. Any advice on what to do? Thanks!

It’s fine. The essentials are there. Colleges understand that rec letter quality can vary. Frankly, it seems you have a great rec. I’d say let the smaller points go and don’t worry about it.
