i do parkour and tricking, and sometimes when im practicing after school, a bunch of jocks or dumb kids come near me and try mocking my movements and what i do. im not shy or anything, and i usually have a dont-give-a-f*** attitude so i dont really care about what they say. however, it really gets annoying sometimes, and i usually just ignore them, and they go away after 10 minutes or so. when i do respond (usually by insulting them or telling them to do something useful with their lives), they just laugh. i dont want to start trouble, because there's always a group of them and it would never be a fair fight. are there any better ways of dealing with them and getting them to f*** off as soon as possible? or do i just have to put up with their crap?

ps. id really prefer to not get any teachers involved. i usually practice with friends, but we're always outnumbered at least twofold so it would still be fruitless to actually stand up to them. also, i dont really consider myself a "bully victim" because i dont let what they say get to me; i'd just prefer to practice without a group of meatheads acting retarded near me.

@djamieson: You’re post is the most immature thing I have ever read. How could you give up a hobby because you don’t want to come off as a “tryhard?” Good luck in life.

@djamieson: no offense, but you seem like the biggest tool who would do anything to please others. im sorry but i do parkour and tricking BECAUSE I LIKE TO DO THEM, and i couldnt care less about what a bunch of community college-bound meatheads think. and personally, i think parkour and tricking are far more interesting than a stupid game like football, which requires players to have an sat score of below 1600 on the 2400 scale to be even eligible to join the team at my school.

@musicbound community college bound meatheads huh? LOL theres at least 5 or 6 guys i know on the team that have at least a 3.2 and play varsity football, btw these are advanced/AP classes, not comprehensive, when i played football and basketball last year, (which i intend to do this year) i had a 3.8 GPA, sure, not like you overachieving super geniuses on here, but hey, a varsity sport, clubs, advanced classes, and chores is a lot to fit in one day, and plus how do you think college athletes are able to play? they keep good grades so they can stay eligible. oh yea, to the OP, screw them, just keep parkouring, to be honest i think its pretty lame but hey, it takes a lot of skill bro. (not a rant.)

Thank you orangeblood, Im currently on my varsity football team with a 3.85 and 2300’s on the SAT. I am definitely not community college bound. I don’t care how annoyed you are that doesn’t give you the right to stereotype a group like that. You may want help, because you are acting just like they are. They think that you’re some wierd nerdy asian kid that has a total of 5 friends and does weird **** like parkour and you need to have an sat above 1600 to be qualified to do that. <— as dumb as that sounded, you sound just as stupid when you make dumb ass generalizations like that.

ok i didnt really mean to offend anyone, i wasnt specific enough. when im talking about dumb football players and meatheads, im talking about the people IN MY SCHOOL ONLY, NOT IN GENERAL. im pretty sure not a single member on the football team or any “cool” sports team of my school has an sat score of above 1800/2400. however, the football captain 3 years back got into harvard for his academics and my friend who played varsity football (from another school) now goes to uchicago so im not saying theyre all dumb. im just saying that the people on the team of my school AT THE MOMENT are all dumbasses. again sorry if i wasnt clear enough

^btw, nerdy asian kid?? lol im actually black, and the rest of my friends who parkour/trick are either white or hispanic. at least where i come from, mostly black kids are known for tricking and doing parkour, not asians

Wow, looks like I hit a nerve of insecurity with a few people there.

@Rush10 - I believe it is tryhard and that you look like a fool when you do it, a bit like taking photos in the mirror with your shirt off to put on Facebook. Also your sarcastic “good luck in life” jab loses quite a bit of meaning when you can’t differentiate between ‘your’ and ‘you’re’.

@musicboss - I can’t even begin to point out how erroneous and hypocritical you were in that one small paragraph you wrote.

Firstly, you said ‘no offence but you seem like the biggest tool’, well that clearly is a comment intended to be offensive. Secondly you said you have a ‘dont give a **** attitude’ yet as soon as suggest it is a tryhard sport you become incredibly insecure and adamant in rebutting my argument. Finally you contradict yourself by slandering Footballers even though your problem in the first instance is the fact that people are giving you trouble for your hobby.

Like I said it’s amazing how much you care for a person with a ‘dont give a ****’ attitude.
