How to deal with teachers that I just don't like

<p>I have an APUSH teacher and English teacher whom I just don't like. The English teacher is a cynic(he admits himself), and always think the bad side of a person. He's very stubborn and grades students by his liking. Recently, I argued with him on a take home quiz that he refused to accept because I wasn't in class that day (so he gave me a 0 out of 30).</p>

<p>I want to improve my grades in that class. I know I should put in effort so that he can't give me low grades even if he's biased. But everytime, what he gives me just discourages me from making further efforts. </p>

<p>Unfortunately, my APUSH teacher is like the best friend of my english teacher. They talk about students and have similar personalities.</p>

<p>Any ideas of how I can do better in those classes with teachers that I just don't like.</p>

<p>You can't let them get the best of you. You have to keep trying to get on their good sides, keep trying to do your best. There will always be people above you who you don't like and have to deal with; start learning how to.</p>

<p>guess what, just suck it up....and try to think least abt them and just do ur work. Don't forget: they are just teachers, not somebody who got control of ur life....so, yeah...just deal w/ it..strongly.</p>

<p>Suck it up. Learning to work effectively with people you don't like is an essential life skill.</p>

<p>Use it as motivation to do well. It'll make doing well feel that much sweeter.</p>

<p>There's really nothing you can do, except drop the class. Everyone gets teachers they don't like, you just have to get over it and accept them, </p>

<p>and remember, don't get into fights, because they are the ones who decide what your grade will be, and you may be stuck with them for a while.</p>
