How to deal with things at Rutgers

So I got into Rutgers Camden, (got rejected from NB, :frowning: ) I know I should be happy and that I at least go into Rutgers, but at the same time I’m sort of bummed that I didn’t get into NB because a lot of my friends are going there, it was my top priority, and when I say I got into Rutgers they assumed it was NB and it just makes me feel a little crushed just to say I was in Camden, and that I feel insecure about it due to my ethnicity as I feel that I’m stereotyped on my race and I feel like an idiot. I have trouble telling others about this as it is hard to talk about it and when I tried to it feels like I’m being scrutinized or blamed, so I’m posting this in hopes of finding tips and guides to get over this, please and thank you.

Just tell them the truth. It is much easier than the alternatives.

@huangv yep. You have to tell the truth. But if you are attending a different college then dont worry about it dude.
