-out of state
- undergrad
-junior transfer student.
To be honest, I didn't think I would be accepted to either- they were my reaches. So I was stoked to find out I'd been accepted to both.
I'm interested in Renaissance/Baroque right now and am hoping to eventually become a professor.
Any advice?
Pros&Cons?
Opinions on both?

Thanks so much!!

im in the same boat. i got accepted to both, and am totally confused as to which is better for me. i was leaning toward ucla, since i thought i wouldn’t get into berkeley, but now im lost.

@soleilers wow! in a weird way its nice to know im not the only one. best of luck to ya!!

Can you tell me what your GPA was?

It depends on where you think you can possibly get a job. Additionally, getting a professorship at the UC’s is extremely difficult. Both areas are going to have ridiculously high rents.

UC Berkeley is probably ranked higher. UCLA is not far behind. Getting a PhD from either one of those school is very difficult.
