With ED becoming a more popular tool used by college to stabilized yield, how can students really take advantage of it? What are some ways you guys tried in the past to figure out the ONE school that fits the bill (as you can only apply to one school ED)?
I wasn’t sure where I was going to apply early for what seemed like the longest time. What solidified my choice for Early Decision was visiting the school for a second time, but instead of doing the standard info session and tour, I found a mutual friend who currently attends the school and spent a day with them (visiting classes, getting lunch, meeting people, etc.) That way you can get a true feel for the school. After my visit, I knew it was my #1 choice. If another visit is not possible, I also found this one website called “Unigo” that had questions about every aspect of the school and current students provided in-depth answers for each. Hope this helps!
