How to declare a major?

Hi!

I'm a French student who was accepted in the Faculty of Arts. I was hoping to major in North American Studies, but on my application I could only pick a faculty. So I tried, once I was accepted, to see if I could declare my major on Minerva, but I couldn't find anything.

I contacted an Art Advisor who told me that I was indeed a U1 because of the French Baccalaureate. He then added "Start planning your schedule as if you are Majoring & Minoring in the chosen departments, don't forget to declare your information on Minerva (Under Student Menu - Student Records Menu) before registration!"

I'm just super confused, what am I supposed to do? Pick some classes as if I were majoring in NAST?

Thanks a lot,
Max

Go to Minerva: Student -> Student Records -> Change Primary Curriculum.
