How to declutter high school notes for college

I just ended my senior year and I was wondering about how to declutter and organize all of my old notes that I might use for college. Do you have experience with this? Any advice?

Thanks!

Caloo Calay?

Good notice.

depends on what you’re majoring in.

Microbial biology, but of course I have to fulfill a slew of required courses (English, math, etc). I’m just adamant about decluttering things considering how paranoid I am.

Hm, I threw away all of my notes. I’d barely use notes for studying present material, much less save and organize them for later on.

why would you need hs notes?

Hm…if you can get the information from your notes from a different source (for example, a textbook/online) throw it away. If there is something particularly novel about your notes, keep them.

I threw all of my notes away. Except for Calc Notes because my teacher was brilliant in explaining things. Plus they hold sentimental value.

…I’m such a dork. XD

OMG i remember going through this! it was a disaster for me because my mom just took all my notes from all 4 years of high school and just dumped them in a giant cardboard box and then i had to sort through it all. honestly, it’s not worth it to keep most notes. you might find stuff like foreign language flash cards or notes on how to solve certain types of math problems useful, but other things you can toss out. i also kept a bunch of my old papers and homework assignments on my computer in a file just in case.
in my case, i only ended up using the foreign language stuff a little bit, but everyone is different.
