<p>AOC varied by state, so make sure you know yours. In some states it’s 18 for everybody, in some it’s 18 with close age exceptions, etc. And yes, it’s your job to ‘check’ if in doubt, although I think if you meet someone somewhere that people under 18 aren’t supposed to be anyway (aka a bar) you should be in the clear. Legally you aren’t though.</p>
