How to delete/edit postings here?

Thanks, I can’t figure it out and CC has not answered my question of last week, so I thought I’d ask you pro’s.

Posts can’t be deleted as far as I know they can be edited for a short time after posting- I think 15 minutes- but not deleted by the poster.

Edit by clicking on the little wheel or cog in the upper right corner of your post within 15 minutes.

Since you posted last week and would like to add information, go to the thread and post additional info which will bump the post to the top of the forum.

Editing can only be done within 15 minutes - you can edit it down to “Deleted post” if you like. If there’s something you shouldn’t have posted the best way to alert the monitors is to flag the post and explain what you’d like deleted. It’s of course up to them whether they will or not.

If you are concerned about information in a post, you may send us a direct link to the post in question along with an explanation of what you would like to edit and why, and we will review your request. We cannot guarantee that any information will be edited.

Posts will not be deleted if any other members have replied to them.

I discovered that once posted there is no longer any way to delete the post even within the first 15 minutes. Also, if you don’t erase an unsubmitted post it will be there the next time you log on. The only way I know to get rid of one is to back space the entire post before hitting “post comment”. Or, if you do post edit by back spacing then rewrite or put something down- I once used “delete” a few minutes after a post when I realized my comments were appropriate for a different forum and meaningless for the one I was posting on.

How do you unbookmark something? I often hit the bookmark when I mean to touch the back arrow on my phone.

I think these questions are supposed to be in community and forums issues but I never read there. so,

@wis75 you can delete the draft. Go to the top left column on a forum page, a couple lines down are “My Drafts”

@Madison85 you can unbookmark. Go to the top left column on a forum page, a couple line down are “My Bookmarks”. Click to see your bookmarks, select one and click the yellow star to remove.
