Hey all. What is the best way for a student demonstrate interest for a college after they’ve submitted an application (assuming the aforementioned college considers it)?
Schools offer webinars and other online ways to interact. If you are able to visit and tour, do that. Attend the info session.
In addition to @thumper1 excelkent suggestions…open emails, click on links even if long videos. U can walk away. Tulane sends out games. Play them. Any departmental webinars ….or activity ones…sign up for those
If you have a legit question contact the AO…but not a soft question or one you can find the answer to on line.
I think people overdo it. We did with my daughter. I’m sure if you do a couple things it’s fine.
Ways to demonstrate interest include signing up for info sessions, subscribing to newsletters, visiting them if they participate in a college fair in your area, visiting campus for a tour if it isn’t a financial/time burden, using the web portal they send you as an applicant, following them on social media, and clicking links in the emails they send (they can track this). Use the same email for these contacts that you used in the app so they know it’s you.
