how to determine reach/match/safty school?

<p>I'm kind of new to all this even though I'm a junior. Basically how do you determine reach/match/safety schools without visiting each school's website?</p>

<p>here are my stats:
SAT: 650, 730, 770
SAT2s: 720, 740, 760, 800
Average: 97.0% (I don't know the GPA on the 4.0 scale) weighted
Rank: around 10/251</p>

<p>I know extracurriculars are also important, but assuming I have enough of all that, what do my test scores match to? </p>

<p>possible reaches and safties please!!</p>

<p>Please suggest any school within the tristate area. I live in NY.</p>

<p>Well, you should always visit a school’s website so that you can research their academics, location, price, etc. Otherwise, you won’t know whether it’s a reach, match or safety (you can also determine its “ranking” by comparing your stats against its freshman class profile).</p>
