Answers are
B
D
D
C
B
B
E
E

What attempts have you made in solving the problems?

^Tried all of them, couldn’t figure them out

Disclaimer though, those answers could be wrong (there’s something off with the answer key I’m using) so take those with a grain of salt

Disregard that 1st question though, I read the problem wrong

Not much of an answer key then, is it?

I think some of the answers you have are wrong, I looked at 2 and im pretty sure its E as W=S=T. So 2W can be 2S, 2T, or S+T.

Yes, I just looked at the first two problems and the answers don’t line up. Are you using the correct answer key?

Here are the correct answers

E
B
D
D
C
B
B
E

I think those up there are the right ones flipped backwards or something

Umm, I’m pretty sure what you posted is still incorrect.

OK, HERE’S the 100% confirmed correct answers

E
E
B
B
C
D
D
B

Like I wrote, ^the original ones flipped

That looks correct.

For 1, think about it. Marbles 1 and 4 must be red. 3 is blue. 2 and 5 are the same color, and could be blue. What are the possible values for the number of blue marbles?

Yeah, I got the 1st question^ I read that one wrong. The rest I have no clue how to do.

Sorry for the hassle

2 is pretty straightforward but the fact that they throw in lots of unnecessary variables makes it look confusing at first. We know that q = v = 2w. Also, w = s = t. From this, you can show q = s+t.

For the last problem, I think the biggest mistake that you might make is to assume that the length of the base of the triangle would be half the length of one edge of the base of the pyramid, which would be 2; to get the real length, you have to solve for the hypotenuse that you get after dividing the square base into two triangles, which comes out to be sqrt32/2. Square that, add 25 and then take the square root of the result, and it comes out to be sqrt33 or 5.74, which is answer B.

Thanks for the reply
