How to effectively check Reading/Science quesions... or is it just a waste of time?

With math and english there is a specific piece of knowledge with every question. If you get a question wrong on a practice test you can note the concept that you messed up. On the other hand, with both the Reading and Science section i feel like i am accomplishing nothing when i go over what i got wrong. I see where in the passage whatever i missed was... but i really don't see how it helps me at all?

Any advice?

Yay, that’s how I feel for the SAT CR section. I go back and check what I got wrong only to get them wrong again on the next test.

Well, why are you getting the questions wrong? Time limit? Couldn’t find the information in the passage?

Alot of science errors can be solved by filling in notes on the graphs, like trend of data etc, or highlighting things like on mineral is presense of the decay of another…they try to trick you with things like negative exponents etc…realizing this will help you avoid dumb mistakes and understand the passage as a whole much better

I’ve also had the same problem on the SAT critical reading section. I would do many sections at a time and grade each individually, examine my errors which didn’t help, and would make the same mistakes again. Any advice would help. thanks.
