I am a rising junior who is taking 3 AP Classes this year [Calc, Chem, Gov] and I want to see if I am capable of taking one on the side for the AP Test. I selected Statistics because I am good at math. What material do you guys recommend I use to self-study? I have heard Barron's book is good but I am better at learning through videos. Does anyone know any good sites or links that will assist me? How was the Stats test for those who took it? Thanks!

Anyone?

Khan Academy isn’t AP per se, but the corresponding video may help you if you’re having trouble grasping the concept from the book.

If you want a text:

Barron’s is the best review book.

I self-studied and skated my way to a 5.

I didn’t self study for it per se, but if there was any time that I didn’t understand a topic or needed help on something, youtube is the way to go. I don’t remember any specific channels, but in the weeks before the test, I just took out the list of topics and watched a few review sessions of things I haven’t seen in a while.

The test for me, was surprisingly easy, despite not being good at math. Our teacher was really rigorous though and prepared us well, but getting a 5 was still pretty nice

@skieurope that stattrek website is great! do you think that website itself would prepare me for the test?

It is, right? I used that and Barron’s. I’m not sure I would have felt quite as prepared with stattrek alone, and I wasn’t willing to take the chance.

Any more advice guys? Haha.
