How to efficiently go over answers after every practice exam?

I’ve been taking various ACT practice exams (ranging from the Red Book to many others) and was wondering what I should do better when going over the answers I get wrong.

I currently just look over the answers I got wrong and learn the explanation on the correct answer.

From what I’ve seen, some people say to go over every single question, even the ones you got right, and that would help.

I’m not sure so I came here for tips,

I went over my wrong answers for one English section I did then weeks later I redid it and all my wrong answers were right previously. You could go over your wrong answers then later redo the test to see your progress.

Whenever you make a mistake, write down on a piece of paper what mistake you made or how you could have avoided it. Keep doing this and you’ll have a ton of info about what kind of mistakes you tend to make.
