How to Explain Withdraw Courses in Additional Comments Box?

I've read a lot about how having a small number of Ws barely, if at all, affects your application, but explaining them helps.

I've attend Community College for 2 years and am now applying to some UCs for Fall 2011.

The two Ws I have are both in Math1 (Calculus).

One of them was during my very first semester at community college straight out of high school during summer. The pace was way too fast for me and I had about C and didn't want to start out with 5 units of C at a community college.
The second one was because the teacher was very difficult (or I guess you could say I wasn't trying hard enough :p).

I am now taking the course again, we only have two exams left and I literally have a 99% in the class.

Would I need to explain these two Ws in the additional comments box, and if so how would I go about explaining them?

only two Ws, nah, I don’t think you would have to. The admission offices literally take a black marker and cross out your W courses lol. And if you get an A in this course then you are more than completely fine.

Thanks for the feedback!
Does anyone else have any advice?

W’s don’t really matter, and it’s only 2. On top of that, you made it up with an A. Additional comments would be pretty pointless.
