<p>yeah i've got to file a petition for credit as well. However I'm in engineering. The engineering academic counselor at orientaion told me that i needed to go to Boelter hall (room 6426) at the beginning of the quarter and ask to "petition for credit". She wrote this down on my "Record of Interview" Sheet that I received at orientation. However this was for engineering...I don't know how it applies to L&S.</p>

<p>I need to talk to someone about the JC credits too. Because I took them at a college on the semester system, and the 3-unit classes I took counted as 4.5 units at UCLA... but I'm wondering because in some areas, I have to take 15 units minimum to satisfy the GE, and so I have like 5.5 left or 10.5 left... and I'd hate to take a whole extra class to satisfy something where I'm only half a credit short!</p>
