How to fill in GPA?

Hey everybody.

So I'm filling out the Common App for the 2015 year, however I'm a little stuck on one section, the Grades section. I currently live in Canada and attend a high school in Ontario, and we don't get marks based on a 2-4 GPA scale as you guys do. Instead we get basic percentage marks based on how well we do. That's all fine and dandy, but that makes things a bit difficult for me when I come to enter it in the Common App.

I met with my guidance counselor today and she gathered some information for me. After converting it, my total "GPA", is 3.66 on a 1-4 scale, or 92% in our system. What would be the best way to enter this into the Grades section of the Common App?

Thanks in advance!

Unless a particular college asks you to convert to a 4.0 GPA scale (highly unlikely), report your GPA as 92 on a 100 point scale.

Thank you so much, I’ll be sure to do that! My GC said that upon being invited by the CA, she will submit my marks in whatever format requested. I just needed to know what to put into the spot on the CA, as I don’t think it would look very professional if it was left blank.
