On my last SAT I only had time to write one page (didn't even use the last line of that page). I've always had problems with writing a lot when it's timed. I got a 9 last time and I'm looking for a 10 or 11, and I'm sure I can get that if I just make it longer. Any tips on how to conserve time or come up with more to write about?

More relevant commentary or more paragraphs. If your intro and conclusion are skimpy, try adding meat to that. I've read a lot of essays on CC and I've noticed that a lot of people have two sentence introductions and one sentence conclusions. Why? The intro is the way to make a great impression! And a conclusion leaves a lingering impression on the reader, who will grade your essay.
