<p>I'm not sure if there is already a thread on this topic elsewhere. How would I go about finding the financial status of the colleges our child has been accepted to? Is there one web-site or do I have to access this information in another way?</p>

<p>Financial statements are usually posted on the college’s website. A lot has changed in the past year, so the endowment amount may be overstated. Cut back the endowment figure by 30% and you probably have a number representative of its current level.</p>
<p>Google “Boston College financial statements” (just using BC as an example) and you should be able to access the financials.</p>
<p>Also, most colleges have published their responses to the current economic situation.</p>
