how to find apartments 4 next year???

does anyone know the best way to find out about apartments around campus for next year. walk into the complex? is there a place online? any help is appreciated

there's a workshop about this in cedar 3 lounge on weds... found out via facebook.
that's all i know xD

Walk around....

Westside rental. I found my apartment (In West LA) from the posting of Westside rental. But the downside is you've to pay 60 bucks for the membership fee.

craigslist, my.ucla forums, etc. the best way is to walk around westwood and look for signs, though. you'll find better stuff usually.

Find roommates and then walk around Westwood. I'm serious.

That's exactly what my friends did. They thought it was much better than foraging through forums and ads.

i looked on craigslist for a long time to get a feel for what was out there and to get an average price to compare at, but when it came time to look my mom and i just parked, walked around, and settled on the 3rd apartment we saw. i ended up getting a really good deal compared to a lot of other places and i attribute that to knowing to jump on the good apartment when i found it. so its not a bad idea to familiarize yourself with the area, but i wouldn't rely on ads to actually get that specific apartment.
